What to Bring
DO Bring: Your ID, cash for fun and yummy things, a sense of adventure!
DON'T bring: Pets, coolers, glass containers, alcohol or tobacco products.
We will be offering a complimentary bag check to all runners. Your bib contains a gear check tag which will be placed on your bag. Make sure to hold on to your bib to pick up your bag after the race! Bag check opens at 6:30 am and closes promptly at Noon.
Day-Of Packet Pick-up or Registration
We STRONGLY RECOMMEND picking up your packet ahead of time to ensure any registration problems are minimized (see packet pick-up locations).
Race Day Packet pick up and registration (if spots are still available) for Half Marathon will be held at our Frontier Town campus in the Old Town Meeting House.
As a way to reduce congestion at the start (we have a fairly narrow starting area), all participants will be organized into 3 wave starts based on your estimated per mile running pace as stated during registration. Your wave group number will be listed on your packet so please make note of that ahead of time. Your official time will not start until you cross the starting line so it doesn’t matter where in line you start.
Because of the challenging nature of this beautiful course, we regret NO baby joggers, strollers, or pets allowed. Also, for your safety and the runners around you, we suggest no earbuds on this course, due to its technical nature.
Course Time Limit
You are welcome to run/walk at your own pace; however, all runners who arrive at mile marker 11 past 11:15 am (3 hours and 15 minutes) will be directed to the finish line.
Water and/or Hydration Drink
This is a cup-free event. Please see our list of advised hydration containers, or you can purchase one of our Hydrapouches at Packet Pickup or on Race Day for $10 (while supplies last). A Hydrapouch is a lightweight container you clip on your belt to use a cup at the water stops. It does NOT hold water while you run.
- ON COURSE: 4 Water stops on the course
- POST-RACE: at Finish Line & Post Race area
Located by check-in and the finish line and on-course at mile 5.
Be sure to stay for the Awards and Raffle ceremony. Each finisher will receive a Half Marathon medallion. Special awards will be given to the top 3 male and female runners overall for the race. Awards will also be given to the top male and female finishers in the following age groups: 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
Policy for Late Arrival on Race Morning
For the safety and fairness of all our runners, staff and volunteers, any runner arriving after the last wave start will not be permitted to run the Half Marathon. Please plan to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to race start.
