Need help paying for camp?
We recognize that for many families the cost of attending camp may be a stretch or even out of reach. It's our desire that no child miss out on the RVR camp experience due to finances alone, so whether that need is small or great you are welcome to apply below for Financial Aid!
How does it work?
Once your application is submitted and reviewed, if selected, you will be notified and our office can apply the determined level of assistance to your RVR account. If you have not already registered, you’ll need to do so first and notify us to proceed (registration does require a $100 deposit and must be completed within 2 weeks to receive financial aid).
The general amounts of financial aid for overnight camp that are considered:
- up to $980 for one child families
- up to $700 each for 2 child families
- up to $600 each for 3 child families
You are responsible for any remaining balance on your account after your aid amount is applied.
Other RVR discounts may not be combined.
Who is eligible?
ALL prospective campers in financial need (for whatever reason) are eligible to apply.
Campers who have not received aid before may be considered first, but applicants who have
received aid in the past are still be eligible so go ahead and apply if cost is what is
holding you back from registering for camp.
Will I get something for sure?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that every request will be granted.
Program funding is limited and does run out each year. We encourage families
to explore additional sources of support when possible. That said, if there
is a need—big or small—we encourage you to apply. Each application is reviewed
individually, and awards are made based on a variety of factors
Where does the money come from?
Financial Aid is made possible through direct donations of generous individuals and organizations. These funds are not raised from
the fees we charge our campers.
Does the form below register my child for camp?
No, the form below is only a request for financial assistance. If you
are awarded aid from RVR, you will receive an email notification with next
steps — especially if you have not yet registered for camp.
If you are already registered, our office will automatically apply the
awarded amount to your existing registration(s).
