If you're looking for a challenge, you've come to the right place! Our two-tiered High Ropes Challenge Course will keep you busy for hours. With numerous elements of varying difficulty, this is one of our guests favorite activities and an unforgettable team building experience.
One of RVR's newer adventure elements is the Giant Swing! A great team building activity, your friends will help hoist you up as one by one as you experience the rush of freefalling from over 40' in the air.
Tucked in the woods alongside the Gunpowder River, Adventure campers stay in modern platform tents, surrounded by God's beautiful creation, with a private pavillion for meetings and activities.
There's nothing like spending a hot summer afternoon in the pool with your friends. RVR's pool is also the location of many of our themed camp events, like our Pirate Pool Parties, Hawaiian Luaus, and classic camp team games!
The rodeo arena is used throughout the summer for our Horsemanship and Extreme Rancher camps. It's also used every summer as part of our "Star Spangled Evening in the Valley" fireworks event, where we hold an authentic Rodeo for the public! Rodeos were a staple part of the ranch throughout its history, and we're excited to preserve the legacy in this excitement event.
RVR has two year-round dining spaces, located side by side on campus. The 'Dining Hall' is the bottom floor of our historic 19th Mill, with the 'Dining Tent' (the larger of the two spaces) located steps away.
An authentic refurbished two-story 19th century mill, equipped with modern bathrooms. Downstairs features a larger open room. Upstairs has six dorm rooms.
Currently featuring RVR's very own American Ninja Warrior course on the upper floor, with various challenges that campers have loved, including a warped wall and an indoor mini climbing tower. The lower part of barn is currently set up with mini golf and other carnival type games for all ages!
RVR is a certified Maryland Horse Discovery Center, and the Remuda Horse Center is the center of all our horse activity! With our endless trails and indoor/outdoor riding arenas, we offer educational experiences including group saddle clubs, pony rides, trail rides, and private riding lessons. All of this in a safe, friendly environment with quality, CHA certified instructors for anyone interested in learning more about horses!
Fort Roller is the location of all of our summer camp programs for ages 7-12 (completed grades 2-6).
Arrowhead Woods is the name of our Teepee Village campground, complete with 6 modern teepees (bunk beds, electricity), large bathhouse, open air pavilion (with electricity), and firepit. Used in the summer as camp housing, it's available to rent during the Spring and Fall for Scout group retreats.
RVR's newly constructed Speedball fields and Woodsball scenario fields, complete with staging area. RVR is one of two facilities in Maryland that offers true Low Impact paintball, perfect for families and kids of all ages. Private groups are welcome to book our fields and play with their own gear as well!
This historic barn on property has been converted into an exciting and rustic indoor space for quick tournament style, small team games of Paintball and Archery Tag®.
