Of the many outdoor experiences & adventures offered at RVR, horseback riding goes all the way back to our roots and has been a part of our program since our founding in the 1950's. Our scenic Maryland horse trails wind throughout our beautiful 500+ acre property in Carroll County and our facilities for horseback riding lessons are top-notch!
Horseback Riding Programs, Trails and Lessons at RVR
In addition to RVR's various summer camp programs we offer the following Maryland horsemanship and equestrian opportunities from the Fall through Spring seasons. These programs all make use of our extensive network of horse trails on property (as well as adjacent Carroll County properties like the beautiful Prettyboy Watershed) and our three riding arenas— two outdoor riding arenas and one indoor riding arena. Horseback riding programs are available for all ages, young and old. Whether it's one time or ongoing, we hope you'll choose RVR for your next experience horseback riding in Maryland!
