Frontier Town Horsemanship Summer Camp for Teens

RVR’s Frontier Town Horsemanship Camp for teens provides girls ages 12-17 with a safe and exciting horsemanship experience. Campers have the opportunity to choose between Western or English riding (must be specified at the time of registration). During their summer camp week, Horsemanship campers will participate in unmounted horsemanship lessons, arena riding lessons, and trail rides. Campers are placed in riding groups according to their riding experience and assigned one of RVR’s 65 well-trained horses for the week. They will also participate in numerous Frontier Town camp wide activities including pool parties, skit nights, afternoon free time, and engaging evening services.

Camp Activities Include:

All of RVR’s Horsemanship Summer Camp activities emphasize safety and confidence. Lessons and trail rides are facilitated by RVR’s quality, caring, and trained staff under the supervision of a CHA certified instructor. Campers will spend time in the barn daily learning about horse care and riding skills. RVR’s Horse Center includes 3 riding arenas (1 indoor for rainy days) and miles of well-maintained trails.
