Fort Roller Trail Riding Summer Camp
Saddle-up girls!! If you want your Fort Roller summer camp experience to take on a more intense horse like nature, then this specialty camp program is designed just for you. Trail Riding Camp provides girls ages 9-12 with a safe, exciting horsemanship experience. During the week, Trail Riding Campers will explore RVR’s scenic property along the Gunpowder River on daily trail rides as well as participate in unmounted horsemanship lessons and arena riding lessons. Trail Riding Campers also participate in numerous Fort Roller camp wide activities including pool parties, skit nights, and free time.
Camp Activities Include:
All RVR activities emphasize safety and confidence. Trail rides and lessons are facilitated by quality, caring, and trained Horsemanship Staff under the supervision of a CHA certified instructor. Campers will spend time at the Fort Roller Trail Corral daily participating in trail rides and learning about horse care. Daily trail rides allow Trail Riding Campers the opportunity to experience the beauty of RVR from horseback and spend time with other campers and staff. Trail Riding Campers also participate in arena riding lessons in which fundamental riding skills are taught through instruction, practice, and fun mounted games designed to reinforce skills taught during each lesson.

*NOTE: There is a 230lb weight limit to ride horses at RVR.
Other Activities May Include:
Trail Riding campers have daily free time during which they can choose to enjoy the pool, crafts, and gym. Certain activities are weather-permitting, have limited space available, or have an additional cost. They also participate in camp-wide events throughout the week.
