RVR is excited to offer a 3-day program for campers ages six to twelve years old from 9am-5pm on Tuesdays through Thursdays in July 2020!
This year we are going Into the Wilderness! The world is wild and wonderful, and through this theme we will be embracing exploration, camping, and learning about God’s love for each and every one of us. We will be providing a safe space for your camper to have fun, be outside and participate in activities such as games, crafts, nature hikes, and even outdoor survival skills!
Within these ages, we will have two separate camps. Ages six to eight will have opportunities to explore in the creek, go on a hayride, and participate in activities just for them. Ages nine to twelve will experience activities that fit their energy, such as a low ropes course, archery, or our incredible zipline!
In response to COVID-19, we are committed more than ever to you and your camper’s safety (learn more >>). In accordance with the CDC and ACA guidelines, your camper will be in groups no larger than 10 with two quality, caring counselors. With additional hand washing stations and strategic social distancing, RVR is ready to provide hope, spiritual encouragement, and freedom to explore the unique, beautiful space at River Valley Ranch. We know this is an unusual time, and have therefore carefully created a program that will still be a summer experience that only RVR can provide, but re-imagined to be a light in the midst of difficult times.

When registering you will have the option to choose from different program names such as Mountaineers, Pathfinders, Trailblazers, etc... These groups all experience the same activities/camp program overall, so long as you are selecting the correct age group.
Since we are required during this time to limit group sizes, children will only participate in activities with the other children in their small group all of the 3 days they are here (example- Mountaineers stay with other Mountaineers, Pathfinders stay with other Pathfinders,...). These named groups also allow parents to coordinate with other parents when registering, if you are trying to make sure your campers will be together in the same small group. Campers will not be allowed to switch groups during check-in or during the week.
Contact RVR's office or use the website chat feature if you have any questions. Ready to register? What are you waiting for?! :)
