RVR Backstage Day 4 – Wednesday

This is a special tour today, where you'll get to hear from our Director of Programs, "Little Bear," on program philosophy plus a BEAUTIFUL moment on the Gunpowder River that you won't want to miss at the end!

Tonight is the night. During evening services, a clear presentation of the gift of redemption is shared, and afterwards campers have time alone with God. The conversations and honest heart connections that follow are the essence of the camp experience – those moments that can stay with a young person for a lifetime.

"But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved." - Ephesians 2:4-5 

Here at RVR, God is drawing young people into deeper relationship with Him, or to consider that relationship for the first time. RVR Impact Partner Jeff Cranston, who came to RVR as a camper in 1970 and has now been ministering as a pastor for decades, says “I often think back to the day Jesus saved me right there in that blessed place. I remember it very clearly, and I am eternally grateful.” 

Wow! How many “Jeffs” are committing their lives to the Lord tonight? Pray for hearts open to God’s love, that they would “come alive” to the great purpose He has for them.  

We hope and pray this RVR Backstage week is an opportunity to see ALL the moments – and the PEOPLE – that God uses for this meaningful life impact. And it wouldn't be possible without RVR Impact Partners! (If you're one of them – thank you!)
