Building on a Firm Foundation
In 1950, four teenagers and their pastor, 33-year old John Bisset, prayed for God to make possible a Western-themed summer camp in Maryland. John and his brother Peter took a step of faith, and the Lord allowed River Valley Ranch's ministry to begin and to grow throughout the following 60 years into what it has become today. The heartbeat of the ranch has remained unchanged, seeking to share the life-changing message of the Gospel with the thousands of youth we encounter through our programs each year.

Building for the Future
As we anticipate another 60 years of ministry, we recognize that our aging facilities have been stretched to their limits and require major repairs and renovations. We must update our deteriorating facilities so we can continue this life-changing ministry. To that end, River Valley Ranch is embarking on a two-phase, $5 million Capital Campaign over the next six years to fund these renovations.
