An old RVR structure has new hope for usefulness as a much-needed dining facility!
The Need:
- Frontier Town's dining tent has fallen apart.
- It needs to be replaced ASAP to provide adequate dining space for summer 2010.
The Idea:
- Save a CONSIDERABLE amount of money by taking an un-used, existing Ranch barn, dismantling it, moving it to the dining tent site and renovating it as the new dining addition.
The Purpose:
- Further diversify RVR's off-season availability and opportunities.
- Provide something the seasonal tent couldn’t: year-round usability.
- Replace the tent with an authentic Ranch style building.
The Cost:
- $285,000 is the estimate for this project.
The Call:
- Would you consider becoming a part of taking something old and making it new again?
- Join us in creating a Barn Again. See how you can donate below.
The photos above show the existing Dining Deck and the Old Barn in its present location.
One of the most moving aspects of this project is that we are taking something old and unused and making it not only new, but NECESSARY to the practical work of RVR. That’s exactly what we are about here at River Valley Ranch: sharing the wonderful news that God offers redemption to our broken and empty lives through the gift of his son, Jesus. He describes this transformation as becoming born again and actually desires us to be a necessary part of advancing His kingdom here on earth. We become “vessels for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.” (II Tim.2:21) Would you help us in redeeming this wonderful old barn through the Barn Again project?
