STOP!  Close your eyes (after you finish reading this of course) and think back to when you were working at River Valley Ranch.  Picture the faces of some of you campers. Now, think specifically of a camper who gave his/her life to Christ while you were here. Do you remember the look on his or her face when the light finally went off? There is no more rewarding work you will ever do than leading a young person to the throne of God.

I have some news for you.  Those campers you were just remembering…they are coming again this summer.  Several thousand of them to be exact.  And they will hear about Christ from people just like yourselves.  While you may not be working at the Ranch this summer, you can still have a significant impact by joining the new Hands and Feet Project. I Corinthians 12:27 says we are "Christ's body" - His hands and feet - and we are to have "care for one another" (vs.25.)  We would like to humbly ask you to partner with us once again, by caring for your fellow members of Christ's body who will staff RVR in the summer of 2009.

Each summer, we hire 120 paid staff at a total cost of $150,000; a significant but necessary expense. We believe it is critical to do all we can do to offer a reasonable salary to those who choose to invest their lives here at the Ranch. The Hands and Feet Project aims to cover this salary expense. Would you consider coming along side a counselor this summer?

There are three ways to commit:

• ¼ Counselor Sponsorship:  $25 a month for one year - Virtually all of us can afford this! It's just .82 cents a day!
  Sponsorships Needed at this Level: 150
  
• ½ Counselor Sponsorship: $55 a month for one year - This would be the equivalent of 1/2 of the average summer salary.
  Sponsorships Needed at this Level:  75
  
• Full Counselor Sponsorship: $110 a month for one year .  With this gift you would actually be paying the entire salary of a camp counselor.
  Sponsorships Needed at this Level: 45

Our goal is 100% PARTICIPATION in this project.  If you are unable to commit to a monthly gift, we ask that you consider giving what you are able.  Imagine if we could tell our staff this summer that our previous staff is behind them…100%!  There is no better way to support the Ranch right now than joining us in this way to reach campers for Christ.  What a blessing it would be to have your involvement again in this ministry.
