All of RVR's TNT staff positions have been filled for 2010. Please apply in January for Summer 2011.
Check this out!!!
If you're in high school and don't want to spend your entire summer working at
that boring job then we have something for you! Teens in Training (TNT) is where
you can experience the behind the scenes of camp. It will be like your first
mission work! Something happens during this experience that's a little
different. We believe it is the unique way that TnT students share their days,
lives and faith together.
What is TNT? TNT is the name of our discipleship
program. Not only will you receive job and leadership training, you will also
enjoy a number of exciting activities designed just for you. Whether you are
working, playing, or just hanging out, you will be challenged to grow in your
walk with the Lord.
What is the investment? TNT is more than a job; it is a
leadership training and discipleship program. During their time at RVR, TnT
students will be challenged physically through work and play; emotionally
through building positive relationships and serving others; and most
importantly, spiritually through small group devotions and evening meetings. Our
desire is that this will be a summer that will leave a lasting impact on each
and every student that comes through the program. Each student that participates
in this program is asked to contribute $200 for the 4 week session. This amount
includes activity fees, meals, utilities and staffing.
What’s the commitment level? You will need to commit to
4 weeks of service. You will live on the camp property and have one day off per
week when you will be asked to leave the camp property. You will work an average
of 6 hours per day.
What will I do? The TNT program is a mixture of work,
recreation and fellowship. It is important that you invest back into the camp by
working hard and committing your job to excellence and we promise to do the same
by creating a fun and exciting program that is sure to leave you wanting more.
What’s in it for me? The summer of a lifetime. Students
have the opportunity to earn student service hours required by most schools
while having an awesome summer making friends, playing paintball, riding horses,
etc… More importantly, our goal is that your experience this summer would change
your life.
