Maizefest :: Corn Maze and Fallfest at RVR
|
Nothing says fall like Maizefest at River Valley Ranch! Maizefest is one of Maryland's most exciting fall festivals and corn mazes for the whole family, featuring our giant 6 ACRE CORN MAZE! You and your expedition crew (i.e., friends & family) will slowly make your way thru the maze searching for the 9 hidden map pieces. Too easy for ya? We've also hidden 9 clue posts which you'll have to decipher to solve this year's mystery. After that, it's a race to the finish. What are you waiting for? It's time to get lost at this year's Maizefest!
ADMISSION INCLUDES: Corn Maze, Hay Ride, Playground w/ Giant Tree House, Corn Kernel playpens, Cider Press demonstration, & Game Area.
NOTE:: Last group will enter the maze one hour before closing & last hay ride leaves at 5:30 each night. NO PETS & NO SMOKING permitted on site.

Oct. 20th~ Camper Appreciation Day
- Any child or teen who was a camper at RVR this past summer will get free admission to the maze when accompanied by a paying adult. Just mention this ad!
- Every child or teen (ages 4-17) can enter for the chance to win a free week of camp for this coming summer
Oct. 21st~ North Carroll Soccer Appreciation Day
- When accompanied by a paying adult, any youth wearing their 2012 NCRC soccer jersey will gain FREE ADMISSION to Maizefest! (Limit of 2 free admissions per adult)
Oct. 27th~ Costume Contest Fun Day
- Celebrate fall at Maizefest! Any child under 12 can enter in this year's 2012 kids' costume contest. Dress up in your favorite costume (no scary costumes please) and come to Hilltop Hall at either 2pm or 4pm to enter!
- Every child under 12 will get a goodie bag to fill with a treat from each activity station they visit.

PUMPKIN PATCH - Pick a pumpkin from our patch and take it home for carving, decoration, or pie! Cost= $2-$11 |

DELICIOUS FOOD - Enjoy a snack or meal at RVR's concession stand or one of our vendors; BBQ, fries, Polish sausage, Funnel Cakes, homemade chili and more - all at reasonable prices. |

PONY RIDES - The Ranch is famous for horses, and this is your opportunity to get a photo of your young'un in a saddle! (These are not trail rides; horses led in corral by trained staff. Ages 12 & younger, must wear closed-toe shoes.) Cost= 3 tickets

MOON BOUNCE - A great place for young'uns with a lot of energy! Ages 12 & younger. Cost= 2 tickets |

OBSTACLE COURSE - Race a friend through our giant inflatable course! Ages 8 to adult. Quite a challenge! Cost= 2 tickets |

PUMPKIN SHOOT OUT - Take aim and get some target practice in with our paintball guns and pumpkin targets!

KIDDIE TRACTORS - Take a turn around the track on of our motorized mini tractors. Ages 12 & younger. Cost= 2 tickets |

KIDDIE TRAIN - Hop onboard the Maizefest express, as one of our tractors pulls this line of barrel cars around Hill Top Hall! Ages 12 & younger. Cost= 2 tickets |
